Yesterday late in the afternoon I ran into Tess in Santa Cruz on the hill going up to Brisas Del Mar. Short chat, but hope to see more of her before Wed. Posting as "she made it" and looked happy of it.

1dawgfan and I had a drink and dinner together last night at Mi Chayito as Mrs 1dawgfan was feeling a little under the weather. We stopped off and got medicine for her and she should be better today. While she was resting at Brisas Del Mar she did feel the earthquake. We were walking and did not.

Rained again last night. Everything is fresh and clean and the sun is coming through the clouds strong. Got some cloths out on the line early this morning. Maybe can make it to the dry stage before we get any more rain. 82 degrees and a slight breeze should help.

The mosquitos are out in force. First real bad bunch since I got here in December.

The street at the far end of Cinco de Mayo is a shame.
